The fellow getting his head blown off in this page was a competitor by the name of Yato, whose main power was the ability to resurrect (painfully, as a caveat) from the cursed gourd he carried with him at all times. This made him a standout cameo in pretty much everyone’s round two comics since you could basically do whatever to him consequence-free.
